Complete Maui Island Helicopter Tour

The long-extinct volcanoes that once made up the island of Maui have left a breathtaking landscape, from the gray rocky mountaintops of Haleakala Crater to the verdant slopes of the West Maui Mountains. There is no better way to take in all of this beauty than from one of our Eco-Star helicopters, which offer comfortable seating and increased interior space.

Over the main portion of the island, you will see Haleakala Crater, the remains of a once-active volcano. Parts of the crater are dry, with piles of volcanic rock and very little vegetation. Other parts are teeming with plants indigenous to the region, from areas of low-lying shrubs to a full-blown rainforest. We will fly of Oheo Gulch, home to a series of pools and waterfalls running from the Pipiwai Stream into the Pacific Ocean. This area is usually crowded with tourists, but you will not have to fight the masses from the comfort of our Eco-Star helicopter. A meandering road leads to Hanna Town, which can mean a tedious drive by land. You, however, will glide from one natural wonder to another in the sky. Hanna, itself a beautiful town, is home to many magnificent sites, including lush rainforests, the beautiful Homoa Beach, and the rocky coastline of northeast Maui.

Next we will take you to the West Maui Mountains, where eroded volcanoes have created a fantastic landscape of dramatic green cliffs riddled with waterfalls cascading to rainforest streams below. Part of this area is off limits to those who are not researchers or conservationists, but you will get to see it all.
